The University of Texas at Arlington, abbreviated as UTA, is a public-funded university located in Arlington, Texas. It was established in 1895 and was a part of the Texas A&M University system until 1965; it joined the University of Texas System. The main campus of UTA sprawls across 420 acres of land and operates out of 10 academic schools and colleges. UTA added a new campus in downtown Fort Worth campus in 2007. UTA is one of the only 115 public institutions of the USA to be included in the ‘top-tier’ list. As such, it becomes one of the best places to study abroad for international students.
